Bukky Shonibare, a Nigerian lady has taken to social media to announce the good news her mother received. The lady whose mother made her voluntary retirement twenty-years ago finally receives her pension.

The lady shared her mother's story on Twitter. She revealed that she could see that the efforts to process the pension was one of the most difficult and emotional periods in her mother's life.

Shonibare further noted that her mother called her with excitement a few days ago to tell her that she has finally gotten her pension.

According to her, the excitement is because it is incredible that her mother was able to get the pension while she is still alive.

The lady further revealed that she got it and would continue to receive it while she is alive. She said after the first bulk payment, she would receive the monthly payment.
