Abdulmumin Jibrin has warned the All Progressives Congress (APC) against underating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
Jibrin who is one of the lawmakers loyal to President Muhammadu Buhari gave this warning on his Twitter account on Sunday, October 7, after the victory of former vice president Atiku Abubakar as the flag bearer of the PDP.

"PMB vs AA! I always say strong opposition and tight election is good for democracy. It optimise the value of citizens and every vote COUNTS..use it wisely! Just like Buhari, Atiku has shown the power of resilience. Iam confident APC/PMB will surmount BUT no room for complacency!" Jibrin tweeted.
NAIJ.com had reported that Abdulmumin Jibrin, member of Nigeria's House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) won the party's ticket to return to the National Assembly to represent Kiru/Bebeji federal constituency of Kano state.
The lawmaker who was one of President Buhari's loyalists at the National Assembly disclosed this on his twitter feed on Thursday, October 4.

"APC direct primaries in Kano for House of Representatives. It turns out a work free day for me because my constituents put me up again as sole candidate for the APC..ALHAMDULILLAH! I wish all my colleagues and aspiring new members best of luck as the votes are counted," he tweeted.
