Nigerians boxers scheduled to participate at GOtv Boxing Night 12, have vowed put up stellar performances against their respective opponents with those fighting foreign opponents boasting that their they will win comfortably.
The event will hold on 1 October at the Indoor Sports of the National Stadium, Lagos with seven fights lined up for the day.

The event will feature four international bouts, including an African Boxing Union welterweight title defence between Stanley “Edo Boy” Eribo of Nigeria and Tanzania's Ramadhani Shauri.

Also scheduled is a Commonwealth Africa lightweight title fight between Oto "Joe Boy" Joseph and Dillon Yule of South Africa.
All action Olaide “Fijaborn” Fijabi, the West African Boxing Union light welterweight champion, will defend his title against Ghana's Bilal Ibrahim, while Nigeria's Waidi "Skoro" Usman will take on Tanzania's Juma Fundi in an international featherweight challenge duel.

Also in the light welterweight, Rilwan “Baby Face” will go up against Christmas "Tornado" Tombraye. Another lightweight clash will see the showy Rilwan "Real One" Oladosu take on Samuel Opaogun.
In the light heavyweight division, Kabiru "KB Godson" Towolawi will take on Akeem Adebayo.

The event, tagged the “Independence Day” edition, is the biggest ever boxing show in the history of the sport in the country.
Boxers will earn a total of N20million in prize monies. The traditional Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial cash prize for the best boxer award has been increased from N2million to N2.5million with the runner-up going home with N1million, while the second-runner-up will win N500,000.
