Buhari's UN speech was full of contradictions and deceit Fani Kayode

- Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation has lambasted President Buhari's United Nations General Assembly speech

- Fani-Kayode described the speech as a cocktail of contradictions, deceit and mendacities

- He also took a swipe at the president for not condemning killings in Nigeria

Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation has criticized the address given by President Buhari at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Fani-Kayode in a series of tweets on Tuesday, September 19, also said President Buhari's speech was pitiful and uninspiring.

The president in his speech had strongly condemned terrorists acts across the globe.

"More than 100 world leaders, thousands of diplomats and advocates will convene in New York City from 19-25 September 2017. This year’s theme is Focusing on people — striving for peace and a decent life for all on a sustainable planet," the UN says.
