Diego Costa has revealed that he would want to meet Antonio Conte face-to-face with Antonio Conte in the tunnel of the Wanda Metropolitano stadium ahead of the Champions League clash between his former club and Atletico Madrid.

It would be the first time since receiving the text message that ended his Chelsea career that Costa will see his former coach eye to eye.

Costa formally completed his return to Atletico and the player could meet his former colleagues in England after Chelsea were informed that Costa will be in the tunnel area before the game to say goodbye to his old team-mates and club staff.

The Spaniard had refused to return to England since the end of last season.

Antonio Conte has already revealed that he will shake hands with the striker now that both men have got their way.
