Protest hits South Africa over alleged killing of Nigerian by police (video)

- Nigerians in South Africa have protested the killing of another Nigerian by police officers

-The Nigerians said accused the police in Johannesburg of killing a man simply identified as Obosi

- Reports alleged that the Johannesburg police tortured Obosi and covered his face with a plastic bag which led to his death

Some Nigerians in South Africa have raised alarm over the alleged killing of another Nigerian by police officers in Johannesburg.

The Nigerians in their scores staged a protest over the alleged killing.

A report said the protest became important after a Nigerian simply identified as Obosi was tortured by the Metro police in Johannesburg.

Obosi was said to have died in the process of the torture meted to him by the security operatives.

A Facebook user - Star Boy Nino Brown - who shared the story on his page said Obosi's face was covered with plastic bag after he was beaten by the police.

Also, a viral video showed Nigerians protesting the killing of Obosi.

The Nigerians holding placards with various inscription marched to the Johannesburg police station to demand justice for Obosi.

NAIJ.com earlier reported that Nigerians in South Africa were issued a quit notice in two different communities in the country.

These Nigerians were accused of perpetrating crimes in South Africa.

However, the Nigerian union in South Africa said all crimes were usually attributed to Nigerians.
