Goals from Rhian Brewster, Morgan Gibbs-White, two from Phil Foden and another from Marc Guehi made it a fantastic night for English football, less than six months after the Three Lions Under-20s claimed the World Cup in South Korea.

A great reaction save by Curtis Anderson from Juan Miranda a minute later kept it level.

But with 20 minutes left, the oustanding Foden put England in front.

There was more great work from winger Hudson-Odoi and his intelligent cross was finished off by Foden.

England finished it as Guehi got the fourth, forcing the ball home after Spain failed to clear from a cross. Foden made it five and sent his side down into the history books with his late strike on the break.
