Manchester United season had a blistering start to the season, seeing them scoring goals for fun.

But the Old Trafford outfit have been poor and boring to watch lately, their poor performance cost them last weekend when they lost to newly promoted team Huddersfield.

And insiders at their Carrington complex have revealed how their top stars have taken the poor run badly.

It is also understood a number of first-team players are upset over Mourinho's recent comments about PSG.

A United source said: "The atmosphere at the training ground is the lowest it has been since Jose joined the club.

"Something isn’t right. We wonder whether his comments about Paris and not staying long term has also had an impact.

"The players have been pretty quiet since the Liverpool game and a lot less banter has been going on

"It’s dropped off a cliff since Huddersfield. Not having Pogba’s presence is always not going to help, as he is so bubbly.

"The canteen is like a morgue and there is certainly a feeling that the manager is ready to tell a few home truths."

Recent performances have seen them drop five points behind City neighbors Manchester City, the draw at Liverpool and the loss to Huddersfield has seen people question Mourinho's men title credentials.

NAIJ.com had earlier reported the 54-year-old indicated that his desire to achieve new things and match his ambitions will him coach at other clubs once he leaves United.
