On October 1, President Muhammadu Buhari stunned Nigerians when he went to Boko Haram infested Borno state to celebrate the Independence Day with military men who have been fighting to keep Nigeria one.
While there, he cut the Independence Day anniversary cake with troops of Operation Lafiya Dole involved in the fight against Boko Haram in Borno state.
It was a day visit and on return, the first lady, Aisha Buhari and her granddaughter welcomed President Buhari back to Abuja following.
