- UNILAG recently announced the appointment of a new vice chancellor for the university

The University of Lagos has published the 2017/18 merit admission list of students for the institution.

The university announced admission into the following faculties:

Faculty of Arts

Faculty of Business Administrations

Faculty of Education

Faculty of Engineering

Faculty of environmental services

Faculty of Law

Faculty of science

Faculty of social sciences

College of medicine

NAIJ.com earlier reported that on Friday, October 27, UNILAG appointed Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe as the new vice chancellor of the institution.

Ogundipe was in April 2016 appointed the deputy vice chancellor (academics and research) of the institution.

Mr Ogundipe is a professor in the department of botany and also the director of academic planning at the University of Lagos. He was born on May 31, 1960. He is married and blessed with three children.
