NAIJ.com readers let us into their world by revealing their favourite Nigerian soups and also stating the reasons why they think they are 'unbeatable'.

Barely two months after a challenge that got Nigerians attempting to make a pot of soup using just N500, they have revealed their favourite soups.

NAIJ.com readers even went as far as revealing what they described as the 'queen of all soups', selecting egusi soup which they agreed cuts across tribes and is loved by nearly everyone.

The readers have now revealed their favourite Nigerian soups, with most people choosing okro soup, oha soup, nsala soup, bitter leaf soup, edikang ikong soup, ewedu soup and banga soup.

1. The ones who chose okro soup described it thus "Okro soup is more than soup I see the half done of okro soup as herbal medicine." "If you are not married yet, just inbox me and collect the engagement ring. With well prepared Hot okro soup. I can marry without looking or digging into your past or even study you." "Okro soup is my fave. Any other soup is a no-no for me."

2. The ones who chose vegetable soup described it thus: "I love vegetables like no tomao, 3 veggie combo spinach, ugu and uziza with assorted meat dry fish shrimps and ponmo." "Vegetables soup is my favorite soup"

5. The ones who chose egusi soup said "egusi mixed with ogbono with deliberate stock fish and mangala fish... Then to dilute it u take 1 bottle of Goldberg to transport all and all." "My favorite is Eugsi, Meat stew and Okra...anything with pepper in it...Yum. Lol I only eat half a plate.. it's too much if I eat a whole plate" "This food got me speaking in tongues.." "My favourite is thick Egusi soup and hot pounded yam with a keg of fresh palm wine naturally brewed in udi or enugu-ezike of Enugu state."
