Boko Haram campaign of terror continues, kills 8 civilians in overnight attack

- Cameroonians are also not immune from attacks by the insurgents

- Report has it that 8 civilians were killed by the insurgents in the country on Tuesday, October 31

There are indications that 8 civilians were killed in Cameroon by Boko Haram terrorists on Tuesday, October 31.

The incident was revealed by international investigative journalist and traditional ruler, Chief Bisong Etahoben, via his Twitter page.

According to him, two people were killed last night by the insurgents in Mada II village, Far North Region of Cameroon.

He also informed the public that six civilians were killed in another area in the region.

On Tuesday, October 31, Etahoben tweeted that 11 villagers have been killed in Guderi, northern Cameroon by Boko Haram terrorists.

Meanwhile, in Nigeria, two horse-riding Boko Haram members fleeing from military clearance operation at a Borno town were killed by Nigerian soldiers.

This was revealed by the Nigerian army in a statement sent to journalists by the army deputy director, 8 Task Force Division, Monguno, Borno state, Colonel Timothy Antigha.

According to the statement, the insurgents fleeing on horse were gunned down by military troops during a fierce battle at Gambo Yukku forest in Gubio, northern part of Borno.
