Chief Bode George is said to have resigned as a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Details of the resignation of Chief George, a former national vice chairman of the party, were sketchy at the time of this report, but it is believed that the action followed his bid to vie for the party’s chairmanship position at its forthcoming convention.
The top politician from Lagos is contesting against other party chieftains including former Governor Gbenga Daniel of Ogun state and Chief Raymond Dokpesi, a media mogul.
