NAIJ.com gathers that Duysak disclosed that his action had been a mistake, and he didn’t think that Trump’s account would actually get deactivated.
According to Duysak, it was not a planned act. He stated that the opportunity fell into his lap near the end of his scheduled final shift, and he grabbed it.
He stated: “There are millions of people who would take actions against him if they had the possibility. In my case, it was just random.”
He insisted that he had not done anything he was not authorized to do, as he claimed that towards the end of his last day at work, he received an alert that someone had reported a violation by Trump’s account.
In his words: “I didn’t hack anyone. I didn’t do anything which I wasn’t authorized to do.”
Twitter Inc has refused to disclose whether Duysak was actually the person responsible for the incident.
However, the company stated: “We have taken a number of steps to keep an incident like this from happening again.”
