Suspended lawmaker, Abdulmumuni Jibrin has continued his feud with the House of Representatives as he was at the Court of Appeal in continuation of his case against suspension by the house.

He said he has so far spent 14 months in suspension but he has faith that justice will come for him and his people.

He said: "Today, I joined my lawyer Femi Falana SAN and his team of lawyers at the Court of Appeal in continuation of our case against my illegal suspension consequently suspending my entire constituency from the House. The apeal filed by the House was finally heard and judgement reserved.

"We have so far served 14 months in suspension. However slowly, surely justice will come for me and my people. I wish to thank my constituents for their patience and keeping faith. The experience of last 14 months has turned out to be probably the best I have had in my entire life."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the House of Representatives stood its ground demanding a written apology from its suspended member, Abdulmumin Jibrin as a condition for his return to the chamber.

This position was made known by the chairman of the House committee on media and public affairs, Abdulrazak Namdas.

Jibrin, who was the chairman of the House committee on appropriation, had incurred the wrath of his colleagues after he revealed that Speaker Yakubu Dogara and others allegedly padded the 2016 budget.
