- Some loyalists of Senator Buruji Kashamu have in less than 24 hours, reclaimed the Ogun state secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
- The loyalists accused Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee of pursuing personal agenda in the state to the detriment of PDP
- Abeokuta Magistrate Court backed the committee from holding any congress, gathering, public assembly or meeting likely to cause breach of peace in any part of the state
The leadership crisis is between Kashamu, representing Ogun east senatorial district and the newly elected state chairman of the party, Sikirullahi Ogundele.
Punch reports that the Kashamu's loyalists reclaimed the party secretariat by the Dayo Bayo faction.
This development came barely 24 hours after the Sikirulai Ogundele-led faction had dismissed the Bayo faction from the complex.

Meanwhile, 17 members of the Ogundele faction who participated in the eviction of the Bayo-led executive were arraigned at an Abeokuta Magistrate Court on Monday, November 7, for contempt of court and breach of peace.
The Magistrate, Olayinka Idowu, had restrained the group, backed by the Ahmed Makarfi-led National Caretaker Committee from “holding any congress, gathering, public assembly or meeting likely to cause breach of peace in any part of the state.”

Dayo, who said his executive would remain in office till 2020, accused Makarfi of pursuing personal agenda in the state to the detriment of the party.
The Magistrate, however, granted the arraigned members bail in the sum of N150, 000 each with one surety each in like sum.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported the new state executive committee of PDP in the state finally took over its secretariat.
The action happened on Monday, November 7, at the party secretariat located along the Presidential Boulevard, Oke Mosan Road, Abeokuta.
