PDP still holding juicy jobs in Buhari government - Okorocha

- Governor Rochas Okorocha has expressed concern about President Buhari’s administration

- Okorocha said members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hold key positions in the government

- He, however, said if it were PDP’s government, that wouldn’t have happened

Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state said People Democratic Party members are getting fattened under the All Progressive Party (APC)-led administration.

Daily Trust reports that Okorocha made this known in a brief interview he granted journalists on Tuesday, October 31, during the APC National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja.

He said although the president had so far resisted pressures to sack members of the PDP inherited from the previous government.

According to him, “It is not that 50 per cent of PDP running this government alone, PDP members are holding major plum jobs in the country which if it were PDP’s government, they wouldn’t have allow that to happened; they are getting fattened as a result and ready to fight us.

“Remember, your political enemy can never love you politically; so we must address issues and make sure that we settle our party men to make sure that APC people hold great positions in boards and others to give them confidence and sense of belonging. That is what we are asking for.’’

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that President Buhari sacked suspended secretary to the government of the federation and former director-general of National Intelligence Agency, Ayo Oke.
