The International English Language Test System is very important for everybody who wants to get connected with international companies. The IELTS test in Nigerian centers is provided by the British Council. If you want to study or work abroad, then it is recommended that you find out the nearest dates for the test and apply! You can currently find IELTS registration centres in seven cities in Nigeria::

Port Harcourt;
Lagos;
Ibadan;
Enugu;
Benin City;
Abuja;
Abeokuta.

Some of the centers mentioned above conduct more than one test per month. When you register for the test, you will get a confirmation message in your email before ten days to the test. Do not forget that you can always request for a confirmation letter from the nearest IELTS registration center.

The fees for the academic and general tests are the same; it will cost you only N78,000. You will need to pay this money through Zenith Bank, First Bank or Guaranty Trust Bank.

You can always check for the test dates through the online registration system provided on the British Council website. Do not forget that centres are assigned on a first come, first served basis; therefore, you will need to apply for the test as soon as possible.

The British Council recommends registering for the test at least two months before the test begins. Nonetheless, it does not mean that you cannot try to register for the test later than that if there are available slots.
