Young lady shares story of how she survived a fire accident at age 4 (photos)

A fire accident survivor identified as Kanisha Anthony has shared the story of how she survived a house fire at the age of four.

The young lady who shared her story on Facebook revealed that she was at home with her mother and three brothers when the fire started.

Anthony explained that she was trapped in a room full of fire before she was pulled out from the window by her big toe.

She further revealed that her two of her brothers age 2 and 6 did not survive the accident. She explained that she lost 4 fingers, an ear, all of her hair and 60 percent of her body was burnt.

According to her, it was reported that she stopped breathing before she got to the hospital but after a few minutes her heart started beating again and she was given another chance at life.

Anthony noted that since then she has never taken her life for granted, adding that she has gained a lot in her life since the fire.

The young lady advised people to try to live the life they are given no matter how hard it is. She is now married with beautiful kids.

“At the age of 4, I was in a house fire. I remember being trapped by a room full of fire than being pulled out of the window by my big toe. I was in the house with my mom and 3 brothers... two brothers (age 2 and 6) did not make it out. I was sent to one hospital where they weren't able to do any thing for me, then flown to another. By the time I made it there, my heart had stopped. My mother had been told her 3rd baby died. After a few minutes, I was given another chance at life. And i don't take it for granted at all. I was burned over 60% of my body, lost 4 fingers, lost an ear and lost all of my hair that isn't able to grow back again. Those were the things that I lost... but I gained so much more. I was given life. I am married. In this photo, I am pregnant with my 3rd child. I am blessed. No matter what you are going through in life know that you have been picked personally to live the life you are living.
