14-year-old one day governor in Abia state and her team go on inspection in Umuahia

After emerging the one day governor of Abia state, 14-year-old Joy Ezechikamnayo was seen going for a road inspection the state’s capital, Umuahia.

The teenage governor was seen in the company of her aides on Monday, December 11. Ezechikamnayo went to inspect the ongoing construction of Aba road. She was taken around by the permanent secretary ministry of works, Nwala.

Also enjoying her reign as the governor, the teenage governor declared Tuesday, December 12, as teenager’s day in Abia state.

The pictures of Ezechikamnayo are shared on Facebook by Ajator Mary on Monday with the caption: “Abia State’s One Day Teenage Governor, Her Excellency Miss Joy Chikamnayo inspects ongoing reconstruction of Aba Road in Umuahia. She was conducted round by the Perm Sec Ministry of Works, Mr Nwala. Her Excellency Joy Chikamnayo also declares December 12 ‘TEENAGERS DAY’. #MaryAjatorsblog.”

Joy Ezechikamnayo was awarded with the opportunity to act as governor of Abia state for a day after winning an essay competition. Ezechikamnayo who is currently in her final year in secondary school would serve the state along with 19 other teenagers who participated in the essay competition.
