Former education minister Oby Ezekwesili has slammed the President Muhammadu Buhari administration over poor handling of the scandal of reinstatement of ex-pensions boss Abdulrasheed Maina.
In a singular tweet on Friday, December 1, the convener of the Bring Back Our Girls group said the government needed to do only two things.
1. Admit that grave errors of judgment were made by President Buhari’s cabinet members
2. Make a public promise to fix the errors and ensure they do not happen again
She tweeted:
NAIJ.com had reported earlier that Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami was given 7 days to produce the report of his investigation into the controversial reinstatement of Abdulrasheed Maina into the civil service by the House of Representatives.
The circumstances surrounding the reinstatement and promotion of the former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, are being investigated by an adhoc committee of the House which is chaired by Hon Aliyu Madaki (APC-Kano).

The special adviser to the AGF, Kehinde Ogini, was also summoned to appear before the House committee.
