- Gobonese striker Emerick Aubameyang has extended his stay at Borussia Dortmund

- Aubameyang who has been linked with a move in January has signed a year extension

- Chelsea and Italian club AC Milan are interested in signing him in January 2018

Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has extended his contract at German club Borussia Dortmund till 2021 thereby ending reports he could leave in January.

This news is expected to come as a big disappointment for Chelsea coach Antonio Conte who is considering a mega million move for the big African striker next year.

Aubameyang has also been linked with a return to Italian club AC Milan, but Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Sky Sports that he has signed a new contract.

"The contract runs through 2021 and that's still a long way away.

"One day, he will certainly leave Borussia Dortmund as he won't end his career here. He's an extremely important player for us, and we will continue to plan with him." Zorc explained.

Aubameyang has also confirmed that he has no plan of leaving German club Borussia Dortmund in a Tweet on Monday, December 18.

Previously, NAIJ.com had reported how Chelsea are planning to sign Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from German club Borussia Dortmund.
