Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has called on the Peoples Democratic Party to work towards uniting the party after the party’s convention.
The former vice president who was a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) resigned his membership and returned to the PDP.

Atiku met former president, Goodluck Jonathan at the party’s national convention which took place on Saturday, December 9 and shared a picture of his meeting with him.
In reaction, some Nigerians accused the former vice president of wanting to loot the country's treasury while others commended his move.

This was in response to President Buhari’s remark that his popularity was waxing stronger.
