- Emir Sanusi Lamido's first son has joined the Nigeria Police Force

- The prince of Kano graduated from the Plateau Academy of the police force

- He is 26 years old and has a degree from University of Buckingham

Prince Aminu Sanusi Lamido, the 26-year-old first son of the former governor of Central Bank, and Emir of Kano, Muhammad Lamido II, has joined the Nigeria Police Force.

Aminu went to the Plateau Academy of the force where he graduated with the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

The prince, according to reports has a degree in Accounting from the university of Buckingham, UK, studied Arabic in Riyad, Saudi Arabia before returning to Nigeria for his national youth service.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously reported that the Emir of Kano, on Wednesday, October 25, said intelligent debate on restructuring must start to end ethnic agitations across Nigeria.

Speaking at the Union Bank’s centenary event in Lagos state, the Emir Sanusi said there is need for federal government to interact and bring lasting peace in the country.

The Emir said the current constitution which states the country must have governors and deputies in all the 36 states, president and vice president, ministers from every state, over 109 senators and over 360 House of representatives, 774 local chairmen are not sustainable.
