Just like Cristiano Ronaldo, Argentine football legend gets his own weird statue (photo)

- A statue of Argentina football legend Diego Maradona has been unveiled in India

- The statue is erected in Indian city of Kolkata where he was idolized by the people of that city

- But the statue is not likely to go well with Diego Maradona as it has been likened to Susan Boyle and Roy Hodgson

Argentina football legend Diego Moradona has been honored with a statue in India following his charitable visit to the country nine years ago.

The statue has been likened to Susan Boyle, Mrs Brown and Roy Hodgson after dodgy bust is erected in India with Diego Maradona holding the World Cup title.

It was stated that the people of Kolkata which is a city in India idolized Maradona in 2008, and they rushed to the airport to see him.

But the artwork now gracing the city is a far cry from the player who won the 1986 tournament in Mexico.
