Former Super Eagles shot-stopper Vincent Enyeama has emerged as a major target for French Ligue 1 struggling side Angers in the forthcoming January transfer window.
Enyeama, who recently returned to action for Lille’s U-18s in a French fourth-tier division game early this month after spending seven months out due to a knee injury.
He is expected to replace Angers SCO’s second choice goalkeeper Mathieu Michel who is close to a return to Ligue 2 side Nimes Olympique.

L’Equipe claimed Lille had told Angers, who occupy the 19th position in the 20-team elite French league, they must pay €500,000 to €1m to take their Nigerian import to Stade Raymond Kopa during the January transfer window.

Enyeama’s return to club football action six months to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia may reignite calls for his return to the Super Eagles squad with the trio of Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Francis Uzoho not inspiring confidence.
The Eyimba of Aba goalkeeper who represented Nigeria at the 2002, 2010 and 2014 World Cups, has 18 months left on his contract with Lille.
