A fresh start! Mother of Nigerian singer Simi is reportedly getting married in 2018

- According to reports, her mother revealed her intentions of getting married soon during a testimony in church

While Simi is arguably one of the best when it comes to creating songs that soothes the heart and makes us never loose when it comes to staying postive about love, it appears her own mother may just have found love and is reportedly getting married in February, 2018.

The mother of the music sensation disclosed this while giving her testimony at the popular Daystar Christian Center in Lagos. According to her, she started attending programs at other churches after her daughter had often advised her to do so since Daystar was majorly a youth church.

She further revealed that one of her wish since she joined the church was to get married and it has finally become a reality.

Earlier on, Simi had disclosed on her Snapchat that her mother was dating and this may come as good news to the singer whose mum had remained single and raised all three of her children.

Meanwhile Simi earlier took to her Twitter page to dish some words of advice for her fans and in one of her tweets, she addressed the issue of cyber bullying.

"“Everything ain’t for everybody...”Instead of being mad at something u’re not feeling, find the one you like and keep it moving - so the people that like it can see road to pass. And I hope we can leave this putting people up against each other in 2017. The sky is big enough! The world is big enough. Get Over It!

Cyber bullies also need to expire this year. Trending is nonsense if you're trending for being a shi*ty person. Try not to say things about people on social media that you wouldn't like to be said about you. You're a coward if you're an idiot bully hiding behind a keyboard. Also, if you really want to do something with your life that you've been scared of doing - 2018 is the year that you do it scared. You get to live this life one time. No do-overs. And I hear when we get old, we regret the things we didn't do. Live life. If you fail - u try again.

One more thing - don't let anybody dream for you. Filter advice, because nobody in the world is right abt everythg. Dream big. Fight for your dreams. Your dreams and hopes matter. You matter. When you make a mistake, learn. Work ur a*s off. Winning is not for loafers!"
