Chelsea billionaire owner Roman Abramovich is facing an uphill battle to build a proposed one billion new mega stadium because a London family stand in the way.
The Russian Billionaire is willing to build a new Stamford Bridge, it will be the most expensive football arena in the world.
However, a family whose members have lived in a cottage next to the proposed site for 50 years are threatening to scupper the plans over their 'right to light'.

The Crosthwaites have lodged a complaint with Hammersmith and Fulham Council, claiming the planned stadium would prevent light shining into their home.

According to reports reaching NAIJ.com , the Crosthwaites last May took an injunction against the planning permission.
Which was granted a year ago and has been rubber-stamped by Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.
The Stadium is going to be a 60 thousand Capacity and the Family argue that the edifice will cast shadows over their property.

The Crosthwaites refused the big money compensations that was paid by Chelsea to the other neighbors in the area.
Councillors will be meeting on Monday to discuss this issue and Abramovich will be hoping for a positive outcome from the meeting.
