A Chief Magistrate Court in Tinubu, Lagos state, on Wednesday, January 10, granted full custody of the children of the son of former vice president Abubakar Atiku, Aminu, to his estranged wife, Fatima Bolori.
Daily Trust reports that the Chief Magistrate Kikelomo Ayeye ordered that the two children a 7-year-old Aamir and a 9-year-old Ameera that reside with Bolori at her residence in KatampeExtension in Abuja.
It was learn that Aminu and his lawyer were absent in court.
The magistrate said: ''The applicant (Ms. Bolori) is ordered to put the children in schools suited for their educational needs in Abuja.
“Access is granted to the respondent (Aminu) to visit his children in Abuja and request for the children to spend holidays with him.
“The respondent is ordered to pay monthly upkeep for the children in the amount of N250,000 monthly beginning January 2018 and also effect medical insurance on each of the children.”
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that Aminu Abubakar was remanded in the transit cell of Tinubu Chief magistrates’ court, Lagos state for disobeying a court order.
Aminu was alleged to have disobeyed an order made by Chief Magistrate Kikelomo Ayeye on October 11 over the custody of six-year-old Amir Abubakar, who he was alleged to have taken away from the custody of his estranged wife, Fatimo Bolori.
