Legendary Nigerian boxer Bash Alli honoured by Lagos state government

- Bash Alli is among great Nigerian sportsmen painted in murals in Lagos

- The boxer is honoured with his own painting outside the national stadium

Lagos state government has honoured legendary Nigerian boxer Bash Alli with a mural outside the national stadium in Surulere.

Alli, a former North American Boxing Federation World heavyweight champion is painted in action against a white boxer.

Facebook user Alexis Onome-Egborge shared photos of the mural which covers the space beneath the flyover right in front of the National Stadium.

The space has been beautified and converted to a sort of park, complete with artwork depicting some great Nigerian sportsmen and women.

Bash Alli got a hold of the pictures, sharing them and also noting that he was the boxer in the world to win a World Boxing Championship without first boxing as an amateur.

The boxer also promised to changed the face of boxer in 2018.
