Premier League giants Manchester United could seal a double deal for Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez and Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo before the close of the January 2018 transfer window.

Already, Manchester United are on the verge of completing the signing of Chilean star Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal.

The former Barcelona man was reported to have agreed a deal to join the Red Devils, and an official announcement could be made in the next 24 hours.

On the other hand, Manchester United are also interested in the signing of Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo as the Red Devils want him to return to the club he left in 2009.

Media outlet Diario Gol reckon that Real Madrid stars Marco Asensio, Isco, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas all want Ronaldo offloaded.

Ronaldo is curently struggling this season in the Spanish League as he has only scored four goals, and there are reports that the Portuguese international is having issues with the club's president Perez.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract worth £14 million after tax to join Manchester United from rivals Arsenal.

The former Barcelona man is now waiting to find out if Henrikh Mkhitaryan will agree a switch in the other direction to Arsenal which would trigger his move to Old Trafford.

Sanchez was initially linked with a move to current Premier League leaders Manchester City, but the Citizens were unable to meet his demand.
