- Presidency announces meeting between southeast APC delegation and the president

- Buhari hosts APC chieftains to dinner in presidential villa

President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled have a meeting with leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the southeast region at the State House.

The meeting between the southeast delegation and Buhari was announced in a tweet by the presidency on Monday, January 22.

As at the time of publishing this report, the delegation was seated and awaiting the arrival of the president.

NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the president recently hosted some top chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to a dinner at the presidential Villa.

The dinner was held on Thursday night, January 18, according to a message by the presidency on Twitter.

Some of the APC chieftains that attended the dinner included: Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Orji Uzor Kalu, John Oyegun, former Senate president, Ken Nnamani, former governor of Enugu state, Sullivan Chime among others.
