Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reacted to the reports linking Borussia Dortmund and Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with a move to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are on the verge of losing striker Alexis Sanchez who has refused to commit his future to the London-based club.

Arsenal are said to be looking for a good replacement for Sanchez, and Aubameyang has been linked with a move to the Premier League club.

But Frenchman Arsene Wenger has ruled out any chance of him making a move for the Gabon international claiming it would not be possible to take him to north London.

''No, it’s not a possibility,” Wenger was quoted by ESPN to have told reporters while reacting to Aubameyang's move to Arsenal.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Premier League giants Arsenal could move for want-away Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a perfect replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will hope to remove the Chilean forward from his ranks in January knowing it is his last chance to cash in with his contract expiring in the summer.

League leaders Manchester City is his most likely destination and with star attacker Gabriel Jesus out for at least three months, it could force Pep Guardiola to move for Sanchez this month.
