Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, on Saturday, February 10, commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari over the passing away of his sister-in-law, Hajiya Aisha Mamman.

A sister in-law to President Buhari, Hajiya Aisha Mamman, died in the early hours of Thursday, February 8, at 11:30 a.m. at the Federal Medical Center in Katsina after a brief illness.

Atiku in a series of tweets from his personal Twitter handle also commiserated with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai over the demise of his father and World War II Veteran, Malam Yusuf Buratai.

In a previous report by NAIJ.com, Alhaji Yusuf, the father of Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Tukur Buratai who died in Maiduguri as announced by Brig Gen SK Usman, the spokesperson of the security organisation, was buried amid tears.

The statement said the elderly Buratai passed away in a hospital in Maiduguri, Borno state on Friday morning, February 9.
