Buhari to arrive in Kaduna as Air Force inducts Nigerian-made fighting drones

President Muhammadu Buhari will arrive Kaduna state today, Thursday, February 15, to commission an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) built by the Nigerian Air Force.

The Tsaigumi UAV is the first indigenous operational Remotely Piloted Aircraft designed and produced by personnel of the Nigerian Air Force.

NAIJ.COM gathered that it will be deployed for military operations in the northeast after the induction ceremony.

The NAF's Research and Development Centre where the aircraft was produced has undergone a major face-lift under the leadership of the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Saddique Abubakar.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that former President Olusegun Obasanjo launched another attack at President Muhammadu Buhari over his administration’s handling of anti-corruption fight.

The Nation reported that the former President in his latest attack, maintained that Buhari has corruption on his nose.

NAIJ.com gathered that in an interview with German international broadcasting outlet, Deutsche Welle, Obasanjo said the President’s anti-corruption fight has been polluted by people in his inner circles.

Obasanjo said the president could do better on how he goes about the war on corruption.

He said if he was the president: “I would make sure people in charge of anti-corruption institutions are people of integrity. There is no point in fighting corruption beyond you and you have corruption on your nose.”

On his newly formed movement, Coalition for Nigeria movement (CNM), the former president said the movement will truly help Nigerians to move away from the old order of politics and into a new age where the interests of the citizens are truly represented.
