The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) chairman, Justice Danladi Umar, will appear before Justice Ishaq Bello of FCT High Court on March 16, 2018.
The EFCC represented by Festus Keyamo and Offem Uket, filed a two-count charge of bribery against Umar on January 25.
The EFCC on its Facebook page wrote: "Justice Danladi Umar of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT, will be arraigned on Friday, March 16, 2018 before Justice Ishaq Bello of FCT High Court over corruption charges."

NAIJ.com previously reported that Danladi Umar, the embattled chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), declared on Tuesday, February 6, that he was prepared to fight off the corruption charges filed against him by the EFCC.
Umar claimed he was facing trumped up charges and expressed optimism he would win.
