Chinese Super League club Hebei Fortune are reportedly ready to meet Lionel Messi's £621 million buy-out clause at Barcelona.

This comes after the club had offered Messi a sensational offer of around £1.7 million-a-week salary after tax in the summer, which he declined before signing a new Barcelona deal.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Chinese club are now ready to go back for Messi in the summer.

The report also claimed that Hebei Fortune believe they have the financial support of some huge companies in China to get Messi.

The club which presently have Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Mascherano in their ranks believe Messi can be persuaded by his country men to move to the far east.

Lavezzi and Mascherano are personal friends of Messi and Fortune hope the pair will be able to persuade him to make the move.

According to Forbes, Hebei are the 7th most valuable football team in China, with a team value of $90 million, and an estimated revenue of $22 million in 2015.

They finished fourth last season in the Chinese Super League.

In November 2017, Lionel Messi signed a new contract with Barcelona which will expire in the summer of 2021 when he will be 34 years old.

The forward's previous deal was to expire in 2018, but he signed a new three-year extension.
