Manchester City are set to cash in on Juventus super star Paolo Dybala after missing out on the signing of Riyad Mahrez on deadline day.

The Citizens lost out on Alexis Sanchez to rivals, Manchester United after the Chilean preferred to play for Jose Mourinho’s side.

According to Spanish outlet Don Balon, Pep Guardiola has turned his attention to the Italian Serie A to shop for the Argentinian international in the summer.

United have been linked with the 25-year-old in the past but it seems City could swoop for a target of their rivals this time.

Mourinho recently insisted that he will not add to his attacking options further this summer following the arrival of Sanchez to Old Trafford.

As a result, City are favoured to win the race to sign the highly rated Dybala who has also been on the radar of European Champions, Real Madrid.

Dybala’s contract with the Italian champions is coming to an end and the Argentine would apparently welcome nothing more than the chance to ply his trade in the Premier League.
