- Leicester City star player Riyad Mahrez is ready to return to training but gives one condition
- The Algerian has said that he should have a clause in his contract to let him go in the summer
- The 26-year-old feels the club did not fufil their own part of the deal by letting him go in January
Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez is reportedly prepared to return to training as long as he is assured he can seal a transfer away from the club in the summer.
The Algerian has refused to train with the Foxes for a week now and wants to either be promised to leave or given a release clause in his contract, according to the Times.
Daily Mirror also claims Mahrez is furious because he saw a £60million transfer to Manchester City blocked on deadline day in the January transfer window despite Leicester previously agreeing to let him leave for that asking price.

Another report from the Mirror stated that Manchester City are ready to drop their interest in the 26-year-old as a result of the ugly episode with the player and the club.
According to the Daily Star, Arsenal and Real Madrid are the main clubs in for Mahrez as Arsene Wenger's continued interest in the 26-year-old is gaining momentum.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was reportedly keen on the Algerian international, though not as a priority, and not for Leicester’s current asking price of £88 million.
Mahrez has been a revelation in the Premier League in recent seasons and has been the kind of player that will not stay long at the King Power Stadium.
It will be interesting to see how Leicester handle his situation between now and the end of the season.

Sky Sports have reportedly claimed the former PFA Player of the Year is now expected to return to training with Claude Puel’s side on Friday January 9, 2018, ahead of the Premier League match against his suitors, Manchester City.
Mahrez was not listed in Leicester's 1-1 draw with Swansea at the King Power Stadium but probably seem some sort of agreement has been reached as the foxes face Manchester City at the weekend.
