One of the most trending topics on social media recently has been the video of a lady who proposed to her boyfriend at the Accra Mall and got rejected.
In the video which has gone viral since it surfaced online on Friday, March 2, a lady in a very romantic way goes down on her knees in front of many people to propose to her lover. But the guy rejected her proposal.
The video generated a lot of conversation on social media. While many pitied the lady over the rejection, some ladies took the opportunity to advance the reasons why they would not engage in the business of proposing to a man.
But as it turns out, the whole episode of the proposal and rejection was a charade.
According to the lady who got 'rejected', she planned the video as part of an experiment she conducted.

The lady identified as Elorm Ama Governor-Ababio took to Instagram to explain the viral video stated that she did that as a social experiment to send out a number of messages. She maintained that it has got nothing to do with women not proposing.
"So I did a social experiment at the Accra mall last night. This became necessary to send out a number of messages and none of them include women not proposing! The full video will be out soon plus an explanation as to why I made this video. Make sure to retweet and repost as much as you can. We are sending a message to the world", she posted with another video of the incident.
