Barcelona star reveals why he turned down a move to Real Madrid and PSG

- Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele revealed how he turned down approaches from Real Madrid and PSG

- The France international also said that he behaved unruly with Dortmund because he wanted to a dream move to Nou Camp

- Dembele stated that he could not refuse Barcelona a second time like he did in 2016 when he chose Dortmund

Ousmane Dembele revealed that he refused advances from Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain before signing for Barcelona, Onze Mondial reports.

Dembele was signed from Borussia Dortmund last summer for £135.5m but forced a move out of the Bundeliga club when he refused to train.

The 20-year-old also revealed that he had held talks in Paris but decided he will not return to his native country.

"I met [PSG president] Nasser [Al-Khelaifi]," he said. "We had set up a meeting. It went really well. He's a great president.

"What struck me about him is that he is very humble, he's calm -- I had never seen that. Honestly, he's a good guy."

The France international stated that it was impossible for him to say no to Barcelona because he initially rejected Barca to join Dortmund in 2016, but promised them he would not do so a second time.

"I had had a meeting with Barcelona. I had told them: 'For next season it's not possible, but the next time you contact me, I'll come,' and that is what happened," he said.

The former Rennes attacker explained why he was adamant about a move to Nou Camp and asked critics how they would have reacted if they were in his shoes.

"I had the impression I was missing out on my dream," he said. "I had the reaction that I had, I totally accept that.

"What did you want me to do? That I say 'no' to Barcelona a second time? That was impossible for me.

"I'm at a crazy club here, alongside the best. Every year, the club's in the Champions League semifinals or the final.

"I would like to see how the people who criticised me would have reacted if they had been in my position."

Dembele has been plagued with injury problems in the early stage of the season but has made a return recently, and has showed glimpses of what the fans should expect of him in last four games played with his dazzling skills.

Though Dembele is yet to score for Ernesto Valverde's side this season but has made four assists this season and his best appearance for Blaugrana so far was in the 6-1 demolishing of Girona.
