The full name of the Big Brother Naija star is Marvis Nkpornwi. She is a successful actress, model, rapper, and businesswoman. Looking at her now, it is hard to believe that she has started out as a regular girl from Rivers State, who did not have any connections or rich parents.

The birthday of Marvis is October 26. According to the star, she is 23 years old. She was born in Onne, Port-Harcourt, situated in Rivers State. Marvis family is not the usual one. Her parents came from the royal tribe, so she can be considered a princess of Eleme. Her mother was also a businesswoman. By the way, she was also the youngest one of seven children.

Marvis received her primary and secondary education in Port-Harcourt. She went to Trinity International school, and then to Levinda College. For her senior education, she went to Princess International College.

Later, she became deeply interested in entertainment sphere and went to Okija to pursue her degree in Mass Communication at Madonna University. She graduated from this university in 2009. Later on, as she became more and more interested in acting, media, and arts, she decided to enroll at the Royal Arts Academy, which is a prestigious film school. She took a short-acting course there, which resulted in her getting a role in a short movie called “BLURRED”.

Marvis completed her Nigerian Youth Service Corps (NYSC) course in 2011 – it was in Abuja. She came back to Onne, where she got a job as a protocol officer at the oil servicing company. She worked there for years until in 2017, she decided to audition for the entertainment show Big Brother Naija.

Her audition for the show was successful, and she became one of the most interesting and fans favourite contestants in the house. She did not win the main prize, but clearly won the sympathies of Nigerians. Marvis had a playful, funny, and cheerful personality, and always smiled, despite all the hardships. This is why Big Brother gave her a fond nickname “Little Miss Dynamite”. She became the fourth runner-up in the competition, losing only to Debie-Rise, TBoss, Bisola, and the winner Efe.

She admitted that she started this brand to influence the young people in a good way, and make them believe in themselves. Marvis is a person with no limits, and she sees all the tough moments as the new opportunities to prove herself. She loves taking chances and is hoping for more new ones.

Aside that, she is now a rapper and produces her own songs in rap, hip-hop, and R&B style. One of the works she is most proud of is “Vibe”. In the music video for this song featured some of the Big Brother contestants – Efe and Bisola, who came first and second respectively. She is planning on acting in more movies and expanding her horizons. Marvis confessed that Big Brother Naija was a platform into show-business for her, and it was entirely worth the risk. Now all the doors are opened to her, and she can do things she really loves.

Marvis says that she keeps in touch with all the housemates from Big Brother Naija, and they stayed good friends with most of them. Nevertheless, her closest friends from the house are Bisola and Efe, that is why she decided to feature them on her music video.
