Jubilation as Real Madrid star returns from injury to face PSG

- Marcelo has returned to training for Real Madrid ahead of their champions League clash with PSG

- The left-back defender got injured in the 5-3 win in a La Liga match against Real Betis last month

- Marcelo scored one of the goals that gave Real Madrid a 3-1 aggregate win against PSG in the first leg

Real Madrid defender Marcelo has returned to training ahead of the Champions League second leg match against Paris Saint Germain.

The Brazilian international suffered a hamstring injury in Los Blancos 5-3 win at Real Betis in Februrary and doctors said he was doubtful for the return leg at Paris.

Marcelo was among the scorers when Zinedine Zidane's side won the tie on a 3-1 aggregate score line at the Bernabeu.

The 29-year-old could be rested for the match against Getafe on Friday, March 3, before making the trip to Paris.

The former Fluminese star has won three Champions League with Los Merengues including the back to back fit in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 respectively under Zidane.

Marcelo was on target when Madrid won the European elite competition against their City rivals Atletico Madrid by 4-1 in the 2013/14 season.

Having spent 11 years at the Bernabeu, Marcelo, is a key member in the Los Blancos defence growing to become the best left-back in world football over the years for club and country.

Marcelo will be part of Brazil's quest to win the World Cup for the sixth time when the soccer fiesta takes center stage in Russia during the summer.
