- Real Madrid star Marcos Asensio is reportedly interested in joining Chelsea

- The Spanish midfielder wants to have a reunion with Alvaro Morata at Stamford Bridge

- He would only stay at Real Madrid next season if the club sack Zinedine Zidane

Reigning Spanish and European League champions Real Madrid are now on the verge of losing their star midfielder Marco Asensio at the end of the season.

The 22-year-old Spanish star has reportedly told the club that he wants to join Premier League champions Chelsea.

According to the report by Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, the only condition that will make Marco Asensio not to join Chelsea next season is for Real Madrid boss to sack Zinedine Zidane.

Zinedine Zidane's future at the Bernabeu is currently in doubt considering the performance of Real Madrid this season in the Spanish La Liga.

Marco Asensio is also said to be interested in linking up with his fellow countryman Alvaro Morata at Stamford Bridge.

Since making his debut for Real, Asensio has racked up 70 appearances and scored 18 goals.

But it is not yet clear if Chelsea will be interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge at the end of the current League campaign.

And even Alvaro Morata that Marco Asensio wants to link up with at Chelsea is reportedly interested in playing with Isco at Stamford Bridge.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly told his countryman and Real Madrid midfielder Isco to leave the Spanish club for a move to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are currently struggling in the defense of their Premier League title which will be hard for them to defend this season as current leaders Manchester City are leading them with 15 points.

Chelsea recently completed the signing of Englishman Ross Barkley from Everton, and Antonio Conte is still clamoring for more signings this month.
