The major reason why some undergraduates kill themselves is still unknown. It has been identified that some of these students are those who have poor grades in school.
A young man identified as Adam was found dead in his room by his sister. He was a computer engineering student in his final year at the University of Benin (UNIBEN). He was said to have hung himself to death.
The day the unfortunate incident happened, late Adam was said to have returned from lectures, charged his phone, did some laundry and went to rest in his room.

Hours after late Adam locked himself up in the room, his sister reportedly came visiting from Ekenwa campus but found his lifeless body in the floor after forcing the door open. She forced the door opened after knocking severally but got no reply.
It was revealed that the deceased suffered Bipolar disorder before his death. However, no one knows why he killed himself but he was reported to be the best in his class.
