Mikel Obi who is the captain of the Super Eagles of Nigeria has joined the train of millions of people in the world who are currently celebrating the International Women's Day.

Every March 8 of every year is a day that brings global governments, women's organisations, businesses and charities together under the banner of International Women's Day.

The International Women's Day is said to have been observed for over 100 years in many part of the world.

Mikel who currently plays for Tianjin Teda in the Chinese League took to his official Instagram page to celebrate the Women's Day.

The former Chelsea player also dedicated the Day to his Russian girlfriend Olga Diyachenko and also his twins.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Super Eagles and Tianjin Teda captain John Obi Mikel took his twin daughters to the beach a day to the 2017 Christmas celebration.

Mikel posted the awesome photo on his official Instagram page where he was in a joyous mood with his two daughters swimming.

The former Chelsea star who currently plays for Tianjin Teda in the Chinese Super League has shown many times how happy he is to be a father by showing love and care to his kids.
