Manchester United’s most expensive player, Paul Pogba, may not feature for his side in their crunch Premier League clash against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon after suffering an injury in their last training on Friday.
The French midfielder rejoined the Red Devils from Juventus in 2016 in the club’s record deal worth £94.50 million, but has failed to live up to his hype.
Reasons his relationship in with his manager, Jose Mourinho is not going smoothly, with the former Chelsea boss starting him from the bench in their last Champions League clash against Sevilla, but was beckoned on when Ander Herrera could not continue the game.
He was also dropped in their game against Huddersfield, while he was substituted against Tottenham and Newcastle.

United, who are looking to maintain second their place on the log will ensure they avoid defeat in the game, because a loss for them in this game will see them being replaced by Jurgen Klopp's men after the game.
He made a return to United’s starting lineup against Chelsea and Crystal Palace, while talks about his quarrel with his coach is somehow cooling down, but he still came in for fierce criticism during the Palace game from former United player Gary Neville on Sky Sports.

“His great weakness is that he plays like he's playing in the park with his mates. said Neville.
“It's like everything he does is like a YouTube or Instagram video.
“It's like it's not serious. It's like a joke to him in terms of the way he goes about things. It's no wonder Jose Mourinho has left him out for the past few weeks a number of times.'"
Belgium international, Marouane Fellaini, could be available for selection after returning to the team for the first time since he suffered a minor knee surgery and might replace Pogba if he’s declared unfit for the game.
Michael Carrick is another option in case the former Juventus man isn’t available for the Liverpool clash today.
Eric Bailly is also in contention to make his first start since early November after two brief substitute appearances following ankle surgery, but Anthony Martial is out with a thigh problem.
He joins Ander Herrera, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind on the sidelines.
