Trouble for Mourinho as Manchester United star's agent spotted with Juventus chiefs

- Anthony Martial is unhappy at Manchester United and may join Juventus this summer

- The 22-year-old has just 15 months until his current contract with the club expire

- But the Red Devils are confident the Frenchman will extend his stay at Old Trafford despite offers from other clubs

Anthony Martial’s agent is reportedly planning to dump Manchester United for Juventus this summer, as his agent was sighted discussing with the Serie A outfit’s director, Pavel Nedved, according reports from the Sun.

The 22-year-old forward joined Red Devils from French Ligue 1 side, AS Monaco in the summer of 2015 in a deal valued at £36 million, but has been pushed to the bench since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January.

So far this season, Martial has scored 9 goals in 26 Premier League appearances – but has played 90 minutes in just four of them, and the Frenchman is not satisfied playing second fiddle to the Chile international.

Hence, he might be considering a move away from the Old Trafford at the end of the ongoing season.

The Frenchman currently earn £70,000-a-week in his current contract that runs out in the summer of 2019 as against Jesse Lingard who is on £100,000-a-week, while Sanchez earns a whooping £500,000-a-week, and the forward (Martial) has said that he will only extend his stay at the club if he gets an improved deal.

According to CalcioMercato, the player’s agent has been spotted with Juve chief Nedved ahead of a potential exit.

Meanwhile, United are confident of Anthony Martial will sign a new deal at the club regardless of the offers he has been getting from other clubs.

He was initially meant to sign a new deal in December, but the arrival of the 29-year-old from Arsenal earlier this year cast the future of the youngster in doubt.

Moreover, the 22-year-old could feel unwanted at the club if the manager, Jose Mourinho signs a new winger in the summer transfer window, having being made public that the Portuguese manager could re-ignite his interest Inter Milan ace Ivan Perisic this summer.

However, he will first seek assurances over his future as he is no longer guaranteed a starting position under Jose Mourinho.

The former Monaco ace has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season, with five coming in his first eight appearances.

He was forced to give up his No 9 shirt for No 11 instead when Zlatan Ibrahimovic signed the following year.
