Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti won’t consider joining other clubs unless he achieves 1 thing at the Camp Nou

- The 24-year-old admits Man United and a few other clubs are keen on signing him if Barca fail to meet his demands

- He however hopes Barca will give him a new improved deal before the season wraps up in May

Barcelona star Samuel Umtiti has insisted that he will not be joining another club at the end of this season despite numerous offers from top European clubs according to Sporskeeda.

The 24-year-old is said to have told the Catalan club to increase his pay before considering putting pen to paper for a new deal.

Premier League campaigners, Manchester United, are one of the clubs hoping to land the solid center-back should his club fail to meet his demands when the season wraps up next month.

However, the Frenchman, admits that there are several offers on the table for him to dump the Camp Nou outfit this summer, but maintained he won’t leave until he has achieved his aim at the club.

When asked about links to United, Umtiti told Canal Plus that discussions over a new Barca deal have not started yet.

"There is interest from several clubs but, I said it again, I have so many objectives to reach with Barcelona that for the moment the question does not arise.

"In this world, it goes very fast. But what I can say is that I am very happy."

"My future is a subject that I don't want to talk about too much," he added.

"I haven't started anything yet. Maybe there is an interest from Barca [for an extension], but nothing has started."

Umtiti's buyout clause is set at €60 million, making him an appealing target for clubs throughout Europe.

"A payout clause does not mean much, everyone is aware of it," Umtiti said.

"It concerns me, but it does not interest me. I am interested by [what I do on] the pitch and have fun."

Umtiti joined Barcelona in the summer of 2016 from Olympique Lyon in a five-year deal worth £22.5 million deal.

He will make his 68thh appearance for the Blaugrana should he be selected for his side’s UEFA Champions League clash against AS Roma this week.

Meanwhile, he has already made 22 La Liga appearances as Barca top the standings with 76 points from 30 matches, while they remain unbeaten in the league so far this season.
