Nigerian international Obafemi Martins on Saturday, March 31, continued with his rich vein of form this season in the Chinese Super League as he scored hat-trick against Hebei CFFC.
Obafemi Martins' goals helped his side Shanghai Shenhua to record their biggest win this season in the Super League as they hammered their visitors 4-2.
But it was the visitors that scored the first goal at the Hongkou Football Stadium when ex Barcelona man Javier Macherano provided a superb pass for Chin Zhang to score.
Martins then restored parity for the hosts in the 62nd minute after being wonderfully set up by Moreno.
The visitors took the lead again in the 64th minute through Lavezzi, but their fans' celebration only lasted for 12 minutes before Martins restored parity for the hosts.
Fin Guarin netted the third goal for Shanghai in the 82nd minute before Obafemi Martins scored his third goal at the death which condemned Hebei CFFC to a 4-2 defeat.

Shanghai's 4-2 win over CFFC Hebei has now taken them to sixth position on the Chinese Super League standings with 7 points after 4 games played this term.
The win is also expected to be a boost for Obafemi Martins who is expecting a call up from the Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
